As a Team Leader in Operations, your primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient flow of inbound and outbound operations at the Nestlé Distribution Center located within the factory premises.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Optimize the utilization of staff, labor, and Material Handling Equipment (MHE) during shifts.
- Coordinate with transport representatives to ensure the availability of vehicles and maintain efficiency, minimizing halts in operations.
- Implement the First Entry First Out (FEFO) system and control product status during loading.
- Ensure an adequate supply of empty pallets to production, taking corrective action in case of shortages well in advance.
- Provide traceability of finished goods data as needed.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures for all operations.
- Implement Good Warehouse Practices and The Nestlé Food Safety Management System in the Distribution Center.
- Adhere strictly to safety and environmental responsibilities, ensuring the implementation of company rules and regulations.
- Be open to accepting additional duties and tasks beyond the initially assigned scope.
Qualifications for Success:
- Hold an MBA or BE with 2-3 years of relevant experience in Distribution Operations, Supply Chain, or Warehousing.
- Possess knowledge of MS Office and SAP “MH Modules.”
- Demonstrate a proven ability to take initiatives and successfully execute projects.
- Work effectively with diverse and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business continuity.
