Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective public relations strategies to promote the Army Museum Lahore Cantonment and its activities.
- Act as a spokesperson for the museum, handling media inquiries, and coordinating interviews and press releases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to maximize coverage and exposure.
- Conduct research on historical topics, artifacts, and exhibitions to enhance the museum’s knowledge base and contribute to educational programs.
- Assist in the development and implementation of educational initiatives and public outreach events.
- Collaborate with internal teams to create engaging content for various communication channels, including social media platforms, website, and newsletters.
- Provide guidance and support to museum staff and volunteers on public relations matters.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MS degree in a relevant field such as Public Relations, Communications, History, or related disciplines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Urdu and English.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to gather and interpret historical information.
- Previous experience in public relations, media relations, or research roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with military history and an understanding of museum operations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in using digital communication tools and social media platforms.
